Let me set the scene. It's early in the morning. I'm in Pittsburgh to attend the local Horror Realm convention as a vendor there. I have to be at the con to set up hours before it opens, so I start my journey to Braddock, PA at about 8am and I must leave the area around noon to go to the convention and do my set up. I arrive in Braddock around 9am. It's a bright sunny day and it's perfect for taking photos, I hear that the weather in Pittsburgh can be quite dreary at times, but I got lucky today, it's beautiful. I had researched many of the locations featured in the movie MARTIN for the past year or so, so I was ready to visit some cool spots. I even found the house that the adulterous woman lived in, no fan had found that location before me, so I was excited to start this journey. Shall we begin Part 4?
It's the last one, I promise.
With Matt Blazi along for the duration of the tour, we headed to the next location. This is the house of the adulterous woman. No fan had ever tracked down this house location before. But with a little research, i was able to find it. Martin stalks this woman and follows her to her house, he watches her for several days. When her husband leaves on a business trip he decides that it is time to make his move, but little does he know that when he arrives, she is in bed with her secret lover, now he must deal with both of them.
This house was my last stop on September 20, 2013. It was about noon time and I had to go to the local Horror Realm convention and set up. I spent the next 3 days at the convention, but on the following Monday I had plans to see many more locations from George Romero's movies. On Monday I went to most of the KNIGHTRIDERS locations, but I really wanted to try and get back to Braddock to see the real location of the footbridge you see in MARTIN. I had a few days previously figured out where it was, but I did not know if I could fit it in on Monday after the KNIGHTRIDERS locations. As it turned out, those took most of the day. I did however get the chance to get over to the footbridge location just as the sun was going down. Here are the pics. My research paid off, it was the right spot and I knew it as soon as I got there. Check out my previous blog post for the full story:

That was the end of my tour of MARTIN locations in 2013. I returned to Pittsburgh several times after this and took pictures at many other locations from George Romero's movies, however that will be the subject of other posts on my other blogs, I did return to many more locations from MARTIN after more extensive research in April of 2015. But you're going to have to wait to see those....I have many other pictures to edit and post from other places before I get to those.
